Google SketchUp Pro

As a part of Google Earth Outreach, we grant Google SketchUp Pro licenses to qualifying organizations who demonstrate a need for the advanced features beyond the free version. Google SketchUp is free software that can be used to create, share and present 3-D models. Advanced nonprofit users of Google SketchUp can apply for a Google SketchUp Pro grant.

How nonprofits use Google SketchUp Pro

Architecture for Humanity seeks architectural solutions to humanitarian crisis and brings design services to communities in need. Their design team relies on Google SketchUp Pro for the intuitive and efficient interface to develop architectural designs and model project details for local contractors.

The advanced features of SketchUp Pro

SketchUp Pro includes all the intuitive modeling features of the free version of SketchUp, plus exporters for a long list of 2D and 3D vector file formats. Also, generate tabular reports based on the entities in your models.

SketchUp Pro includes LayOut, a 2D documentation and presentation tool for professionals. LayOut combines 3D models with text and 2D drawing elements to create design documents, construction drawings and compelling digital presentations.
